Ratings archive

Due to popular request I am now archiving all the ratings results for both Free To Air and Pay TV.

If you need to go back and track how your favourite show has been faring since Week 7 (the first ratings week of the year) all the info is here, including city-by-city breakdowns for network television and a fairly thorough daily breakdown.

The Top 100 for FTA and Pay are download links.

For US TV Ratings go here.

All Australian TV Ratings are as collated by OzTam.

  1. That was a little confusing, not sure I got your point if the Top 100 match your other data.

The daily figures I post (ie Ratings Week 8) are preliminary.

Top 100 are final if that’s any help.

  2. Thanks, David. I am doing a research on The code: crime and justice. The network viewer data stated in Top 100 ratings are exactly the same as those in Top 40’s Metro Average data in weekly FTA TV Ratings Reports. But the rankings in the reports from your websites are different from Metro Average rankings in FTA reports except for week 8. I can’t figure out why the same figures lead to different rankings.

  3. Week 8 fixed.

You will need to be more specific if you have an issue with these figures. As all FTA modify the ratings statistics with their own spin, chances are what you are reading elsewhere is only part of the story.

  4. Hm.. that’s a tough one. Individual networks would have their own figures probably 1980s onwards (that’s a wild guess), but early days? Ask the Aust Film Commission, Aust Centre for the Moving Image, or the TV World Museum run by Bob Phillips. Also try my other links and ask them.
