Airdate: Morning Show

Seven’s new Morning Show will premiere 9am Monday June 18.

Hosted by Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies, the show will compete head to head with Mornings with Kerri-Anne and 9am with David and Kim.

Seven’s expectations for the show are high, given it was instrumental in the decision to not proceed with The Naomi Show, planned as an afternoon programme. Seven explained it preferred to focus on one new daytime format for now.

The Morning Show promises “news and views, new music and regular segments covering health and fitness, astrology, celebrity gossip, cooking, counselling and fashion.” It is produced by Adam Boland who has had huge success with Sunrise.

Seven’s 10:30am Morning News will move to 11:30am as a result.

  1. I do not know why they didn’t bring this in earlier….Seven have flogged the Today program in the mornings and are ahead of Nine in the news and current affairs most nights.

Why not give Naomi Robson a spot on this show, unless they are trying to fit her in to a night program.

Another thing that has bugged me is Sevens lack of any football related program outside of the actual games, surely with the news they had won the rights they would have at least ONE program such as the footy show…..very poor by them.

Nine do not have the rights yet have THREE programs about the AFL..
