Rove signs with US Talent

By David Knox on June 28, 2007 / Filed Under News 7

Rove has signed with US management United Talent Agency.

It follows his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno two months ago. According to the Herald-Sun, his contract with TEN expires at the end of the year.

Meanwhile Michael Buble has defended claims by rapper Xzibit that Rove is a racist, after a production member told the rapper that they could only accommodate 42 seconds of him rapping on the show and that “we came a long way just having you on the program”.

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. It’s called the constraints of commercial television. I’m really not sure how a creative decision based on a music genre equates to racism.

Canadian Crooner Buble was due to sing with the rapper, but Xzibit walked. Hopefully he will get to know we’re far more relaxed down under.

Go, Rove!

    That’s not racism.

Damn it, every time someone cries racism because something doesn’t go their way, it takes away from ACTUAL examples of racism.

    Shame.

Over him … always been over him … he is totally overrated … and those lame commedians he has on his team are doing him and the show no good at all!
Great, get him out of here and get the self-indulgent show off the air!
    Jack!

Just because certain people think that “urban” music sucks (i.e. me) it doesn’t make us racist. Sheesh.

Good luck to Rove..hope the US can see how much fun he is as a host, and hire him to compare a late night show…he has interviewed most of the US stars and would be a breath of fresh air on US TV
