Well it doesn’t change that much from night to night.

    Last week’s average was 686,000.

Won’t have this week’s average until Mon.

    Hi David

would you be able to say how Neighbours has been rating this week?

    Thanks

  3. David Knox October 11, 2007 at 1:13 pm -

    Newstopia 221,000.

I must admit I was a little underwhelmed by the first ep but Micallef is so good I’ll be sticking with it till it finds its rhythm.

Any chance free to air will pick up Entourage?

  5. Anonymous October 11, 2007 at 11:25 am -

Hi David, Can you tell me how Newstopia fared? I loved it – funny, fast paced, fresh and covered so many subjects. What did you think?

  6. David Knox October 10, 2007 at 2:13 pm -

It competes with DWTS, so the 730,000 last night was down from Saturday’s 880,000.

ABC did plug it via a Press Release if not on air ads.

David, can you tell me how much The Bill got last night – Junes departure was a big event…even though the ABC didn’t see fit to advertise it

  8. Greysfan October 10, 2007 at 10:17 am -

Nine have the 90 minute ‘live’ Millionaire and after it will have the Premiere of the “Fasttracked” Viva Laughlin staring Hugh Jackman. Sorry but i have seen the pilot and i think this will do bad.

  9. Anonymous October 10, 2007 at 12:15 am -

Nine should put Survivor: China on Monday nights. That way they’ll have a guaranteed core audience for 15 or so weeks.

  10. ka-ching October 9, 2007 at 9:17 pm -

Ok, thanks David. I will go browsing later. I have heard some media commentators break down the ratings of shows into smaller blocks of time – thought you may have access to that info.

It’s just like 9 has given up on Mondays. Maybe once they get this 90min Millionaire up and running, they will give the rest of the night some priority.

I am really enjoying City Homicide & Criminal Minds. Ch 9 is really allowing these shows to establish regular viewers. It’s going to be tough to get them back.

  11. David Knox October 9, 2007 at 6:54 pm -

You can’t really compare a 2 hr movie to a 1 hr show. But you can see previous Monday figures in the Ratings Archive.

    So far, going nowhere.

    Out of Interest ;

How did “Big Fat Greek Wedding” ratings fare against the likes of ER, 1 vs 100, RFDS.

Where is Channel 9 heading with its Monday nights?

  13. Neil October 8, 2007 at 5:22 pm -

i don’t think Nine would be al that happy with it’s figures for The Singing Bee…considering it’s their best show of 2007, it deserves a wider audience….too bad they’ve decided to put something as lame as Dirty Jobs on right after
i guess without the Bathurst telecast, Seven would have lost yesterday

Rove was actually better than i expected last night…that american guy & Ricki-Lee were better than i xpected, and Rogue Traders rocked

  14. Anonymous October 8, 2007 at 3:45 pm -

Wow Bathurst 1000 Did very well for a 11 Hour Broadcast.

  15. David Knox October 8, 2007 at 1:38 pm -

Final Approach 0.392m (Melbourne and Brisbane)

Lemony Snicket 0.386m (Sydney, Perth and Adelaide)

  16. Anonymous October 8, 2007 at 12:57 pm -

what show did Cnannel 7 have on at 8.30 last night?

  17. Anonymous October 8, 2007 at 11:11 am -

Rove said on Jay Leno that the Aussie networks won’t allow their stars to appear on other networks to plug their shows, unlike the US.He said that is why a Tonight Show in Australia can only be 1 night a week, as you run out of guests
