Dieter Brummer, former star in Home and Away, has had his licence suspended for 6 months and lumbered with $770 in charges and costs after admitting guilty to drink driving yesterday.
Brummer was found to have a blood alcohol reading of 0.125 when pulled over in his Toyota Hilux in August.
The two time Logie winner last appeared on TV in Nine’s Celebrity Circus.
These days he is a window washer, having previously said that he loves heights.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Brummer clutched a bottle of Red Bull through the hearing. he was accompanied by his mother who told photographers, “He looks good anyhow.”
Dieter Brummer is/was H.O.T! Any programme that ivites him to join their cast would have a huge ratings increase. I still bloo*y love him. He’s sexy.
I agree with funkoff – actors have it hard getting work as it is to be mocked like that.
If someone as popular as this guy can’t get work in the industry, what hope is there for the next generations? Where are we going to get our future stars in film and tv?

It’s such a shame his character was killed off in Home & Away. I’m sure he would have returned otherwise. He was such a spunk, wonder why he hasn’t been able to get work. You would have thought he could fit into Sea Patrol at least.
