I’m not sure how the writer’s strike would have any influence over Rove working or not working in the US.

Why don’t channel 7 think of a different footy show themselves, they have the money and some support for it, why not make it happen. I guess they want to take other personalities from opposing stations to make their show more better.

Sadly if channel 7 does in fact gets the rights to broadcast Before the game, I won’t be watching.. It won’t be the same like how it is on 10, how it has always been

Message is missing now on the website….I believe the writer’s strike (still on in US) has stopped plans for him to go there..it will be good if he’s on TV here.

Rove might be back but will he be back on TEN. Seven have been keen for the last few years and might make a very big pitch this time for his service. Now that would be interesting given that Roving Enterprises make shows for Ten besides ROVE.

Before the Game would be a perfect fit for Seven who are keen to do a footy show but don’t really have the resources to do it.

So all that talk about Rove even being thought about in the U.S was just to bump up the contract, well done.
