2007: In Memoriam

Charmaine Dragun was but one of many we lost this year, though her passing last month was particularly tragic.

Other notable passings included Chris Mainwaring, again in tragic circumstance, host Stan Zemanek, and TV Critic Robert Fidgeon -whose work this writer would again like to acknowledge.

And so as 2007 comes to a close, here in no particular order is a roll call of those we remember.

  1. People who run Blogs are referred to as “Bloggers”. They aren’t classified as writers or commentators hence why the term “Blogger” and “Blogosphere”
    where coined. Also the fact they aren’t published and don’t sell copies also relays to the fact.

  2. Well, I guess the majority of the world are “writers” then eh?
    My 9 year old niece has a blog, now I can call here an established writer when describing her 🙂
