Top end comedy
Casting is underway for a new comedy about a family-run taxi service on Thursday Island.
The SBS series, T.I. Taxi, is to be directed by comedy legend Ted Emery (Kath & Kim, Fast Forward) and produced by some of the team from RAN: Remote Area Nurse pictured).
New Zealander Oscar Kightley of Bro’Town is also developing the comedy with the team.
The series will be shot entirely on Thursday Island.
Casting for 17 - 45yo locals is to take place in Townsville, Cairns, Thursday Island and Bamaga starting from Thursday.
