By David Knox on January 23, 2008 / Filed Under News 3

The ABC is set to screen Pay TV comedy, Stupid, Stupid Man.

The TV1 sitcom is will air from 9pm Wednesday February 20.

The series, currently in its second season on Pay TV, is a comedy about the editorial staff of a men’s magazine, COQ.

It stars Wayne Hope (The Librarians), Matthew Newton, Bob Franklin and Leah Vandenberg.

TV1 previously had The King which aired later on Nine, but the network was on board from the funding stage.

The ABC screening Stupid, Stupid Man is a rarer example of a free to air network picking up a series post-production.

This is fantastic news. I’ve wanted to check out this show, but I didn’t want to buy the DVD of a show I’ve never watched.

I’ll definately be tuning in. :) (just as long as I don’t forget lol)
