The camera work, presenters and performances for the 9:00 show were awful, so I avoided the midnight coverage. Idols, Kim Watkins, Andrew G and Fuzzie? Come on.

We sort-of watched this with the sound off. I seem to recall the last commercial before midnight was for Hotwheels racing cars. Wha…?

Agree with anon post 1 – I watched the Beatles movie Help (on and off as i was on pc too) and even though a bit of a silly movie, the music was FAB!!!!!
I didnt care about the fireworks, its just another year that seems hopeful and eventually let’s you down (as always the case for me!)

Andrew G and Kim W *yawns*. Richard W *yawns again*. All I’ll say is thank god for Seven and their great Beatles marathon which saved the night from total boredom.
