Kylie Minogue for Sunrise

Kylie Minogue is set to be a guest on Sunrise next Monday morning, January 14.

She will appear at Seven’s ‘Brekky Central’ studio in Sydney as part of a promotional push for her new single, “Wow” which begins airplay next week.

It is understood to be her first in-studio breakfast interview in more than a decade.

Minogue has been spending her summer break with family in Melbourne.

  1. I have to agree with the comment regarding Kylies (or her record company) poor choice of single selection. I cannot understand why ‘WOW’ has been released as the 2nd single? Tax write off maybe? I don’t know… I’m at a loss! There is no doubt, it is the worst track on the album – it will never be a ‘grower’. I think a better choice would have been to stick with the 80’s theme and go the Mel & Kim-esque ‘Like a Drug’. …. All said, I’ll tune in Monday!

  3. I can’t believe you said she doesn’t do anything for australians anymore…. What about her Homecoming Tour?????? It was specially for her Australian audiences and was the very first thing she did after her recovery from breast cancer. She could have easily (and understandably) scrapped the tour after her cancer diagnosis, but she didn’t want to let aussie audiences down so she went straight back on stage in Sydney after treatment …probably even before she had enough recovery time. How quickly some forget!! Good on ya Kylie! Love ya.

  4. Madi Gras in March… is this confirmed? I haven’t read anywhere that she has been asked only that she wanted to?

    Good on Sunrise for getting the scoop but alas… Kylie just doesn’t do it for me anymore.

    She’s more for Britain now… doesn’t do enough for her Australian fans and hasn’t for years – you always neglect the ones that love you the most (and that seem to buy your albums no matter what)!

  6. I have it from a good source that she is going to announce the X2008 tour dates for Australia!!!!

    YAY…It’s going to be Kylie’s year, with Hello USA in Jan, Mardi Gras in Sydney in March and then the tour towards the end of the year. Australia will be in Kylie overload. I LOVE IT

  7. Kylie is a boring old slapper these days. She should just retire from making music and just plug her tacky cheap products.
    Thank god she lives in the U.K and will be gone soon.

  8. Is is a HUGE coup for the 7 network & Sunrise!
    Sydney fans are advised to get there very very early, I have heard of sleep out all night among fans, so expect poss the biggest crowd Sunrise has ever had!
    Fans are hoping that Kylie may do a signing at the 7 store as well, here’s hoping!
    For all you Kylie haters out there – this is a woman who has been a popstar for over 20 years, has promoted her country with pride & has been thru many ups & downs. She’s an amazing woman & a fantastic role model for our youngsters.
    Her new album covers all bases – some tracks are instant & others grow on you!

    she needs to promote
    Speakerphone or Rippin up the disco!
    those are both brilliant songs.

    Im starting to wonder with the songs that Kylie has released, which demographic is she trying to sell to?

    I luv kylie but both the songs shes realised seem like their for teenie boppers.

  11. Kylie Minogue is boring, trying to be the next Madonna, that would be the day.. I don’t find Kylie interesting at all, all her music sound the same and I would agree with “me” here WOW and Nudity are both stupid and I can’t believe I used to like her, what was I thinking.. So having said that count me out watching Kylie on sunrise..
