More witnesses emerge in Chaser case

By David Knox on January 16, 2008 / Filed Under News 2

The case against The Chaser revisited a Sydney court briefly today, but will not be resolved until at least March.

The Director of Public Prosecutions had yet to decide whether to go ahead with the case involving a breach of APEC security.

New information has come to light in past two days that could increase the number of witnesses if the matter was to proceed. Up to 46 witnesses could appear in a hearing that would take two weeks.

The 11 cast and crew will plead not guilty.

This is so ridiculous… if anything, the DPP should be charging the so-called “security”, for waving through people displaying such obviously fake IDs. They had JOKE written across them in big bold lettering, FFS!
