It’s acknowledging someones contribution to the history of our medium and it’s a positive not a negative thing.

I know. I'm actually uplifted about their contribution to television, which is why their passing is acknowledged. The site also doubles as an archive of sorts so it's important to log this kind of info.

But people can get uplifted about a co-host for It Take Two or an airdate for Two and a Half Men if they prefer. It's not an either / or situation.

I think Bert Newton became a grandfather this weekend, is that uplifting enough for readers?

But really, i counted 16 articles on the main page. 2 were obituaries.. Anonymous must have selective blindness to have missed the other 14 articles !
