This is Anthony Ikin from the Gold Coast, one of twenty young Aussies ready to strut their stuff on the first performance show of So You Think You Can Dance Australia. The 26 year old owns a dance and fitness studio and has a background in gymnastics and aerobics. He has performed in Grease: The Arena Spectacular, and the Moulin Rouge in Paris. Now he hopes to become Australia’s “favourite” dancer.

Tonight’s dance-off was filmed on Friday night in Sydney, due to the technical requirements of the show. Tomorrow night’s Verdict show is entirely live, with two dancers cut from the troupe.
