Dear God, what have we done to deserve this?
Ok admittedly it’s in the dead of night, but Nine is about to foist those unseen episodes of Joey onto us.
Yep, laugh yourself stupid when Matt Le Blanc and chums return at 1:30am Friday morning March 14.
The sitcom (axed long ago in the US) will follow the Thursday night returns of both Footy Shows, meaning there is no Mint at 12am. So we get Joey instead!
Perhaps the rights for the eps were about to expire soon? Or maybe it’s Nine’s way of saying, “see we never axed it, we just rescheduled it.”
Fans of Jennifer Coolidge we commiserate. She deserved so much better than this.

Better Joey than Mint. The Mint is the worst show I’ve seen in a long time, it’s absolutely boring. It helps me fall asleep every time.
Prehaps warner are releasing the Season 2 DVD in Australia soon. I know the Region 1 dvd has been given a release date in Canada.
neon, I’m with her has aired in full on Arena- surprised that Pay has shown all the episodes and nine has 1 episode still to run, even for a Axed show.
As for Joey, what about airing the remaninder of season 5 of Curb Your Enthusiasm??? There are something like 5 episodes still to run ON TOP of the full 6th season they will have to run at some point.
I’d say the rights-expiry guess is dead on the money. Nine does this all the time.
I do wish they’d pull out the one remaining episode of the sitcom “I’m With Her” and show that. Been waiting a teeeeeeensy few years now 😀
I kinda liked Joey:) Matt LaBlanc was a likeable actor and Joey was mildly amusing. Will be nice to catch up with Joey and family again!
