Michael Johns again received disappointing comments from the judges on American Idol today.

The Aussie-born singer sang The Beatles, “A Day In The Life” which he dedicated to the memory of a close friend.

Randy said, “It wasn’t one of your best performances.” Simon said, “It was a mess…. it’s a very complicated song, it doesn’t work as a minute and a half.”
