  1. Home & Away’s been doing averagely this week. Surprising since it’s Kate’s last week. How do you think her last episode will rate? Any special?

  2. Im surprised that stupid Police Files show held onto so mucn of Gladiator’s audience…it’s Grey’s & B&S that let them down…Grey’s is just boring these days, and that hurts B&S’s numbers (a truely amazing show)

Dance shoudlnt be affected THAT much by Gladiators..would Ten hate itself that all it’s highest-rating episodes have screened outside of ratings?

    As for the 7 Vs. 9 thing…get over it…both have some lame shows (7: It Takes Two,SCU,Border, while 9 has M of T,Sea Patrol,2.5 Men,Power of 10)

all the networks have been affected by a massive ratings-slump this season – only a few shows a week seem to crack 1.2

Back To You & DSM arn’t all that bad – sure they need refining, but they suit their timeslot – & considering BTY’s USA performance,it’s doing quite well here
Terminator suffers from slot-changes,DSM lost many melbournians to Denton this week
Seven will bounce back but no doubt, they are way behind last year’s performance

  3. I’m just commenting to outway the 7 praise posted by Richotb and add some 9 praise so it’s more even.

I on the other hand want 9 to win, they might not win this year but have won all weeks in target demo of 25-54 so far, 7’s only winning because the over 55’s are taking it through.

9 belongs at number 1 and 7 at number 2, that’s just the way it should be.

  4. Gladiators was awesome. Much better than any of the crap on Channel Nine. At least its entertaining, which is more than I can say for any of the crap on Nine. I’m also glad Sea Patrol has lost a mass amount of its audience. Finally, a scripted Aussie show that isn’t a cop or hospital show, and its set on a ship? lol. The whole production just screams woeful, and the fact that Josh Lawson isn’t starring anymore only adds to the horridness of the show.

That Dirty Sexy Money show is also woeful, even Antiques Roadshow rated higher. Probably the worst international show of the current season (aside from Terminator SCC, Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s 5 other series of course)

Rove got stale the moment he sold out to a Sunday 8:30pm slot and changed the entire tone of the show to fit a more “mainstream” audience. It was a mistake to axe Dance last week for a lame recap show just when viewers were hitting a peak. They lost something like 600,000 viewers, well thats their own fault. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing happened to Back To You after they aired 2 weeks of repeats in place of new eps. Seven will win again this year, and rightfully so. What else are the Niners going to whine about in their lives?

  5. I was dissapointed how bad 10 did last night! but i do think gladiators will fade away pretty quickly and in a few weeks have an average around 1.2 m

  6. I watched a bit of Rove last night, the interview with Jodie Foster was horrible, you can tell Rove is star struck and just trying to keep it bottled up.
Hamish and Andy, Hellier, Hughesy and Shelton are funny guys, its weird to watch a show were the person who has the weakest sense of humor in the group is the host.

  7. Nope, my thinking is Glads will settle down at about 1.4/5 Mill in the timeslot considering the lack of competition in the timeslot and it should continue to eat away at Dance’s audience

  8. Great to see 9 win despite Gladiators which was fake and awful. There was an air of National Bingo Night in the production – or was that just me? Four weeks before its pulled??

  9. John, I beg to differ. Gladiators was MASSIVE in the 90s. Why else would they bother bringing it back after more than a decade?

Interesting to see the hits in the ratings taken by Biggest Loser and Dance.
