Young & Restless milestones

CBS soap The Young and the Restless has been chalking up the milestones, recently winning 1,000 consecutive weeks as the #1 rated daytime drama series in the US.

The streak began more than 19 years ago in December, 1988.

On Wednesday March 26 it will celebrate 35 years on air, and promises “a launch party thrown by the magazine during which surprises occur, former favorites return and old rivalries are renewed.”

Spoilers continue.

In the episode to screen on March 26 in the US, fan favorite Michael Damian, who played Danny Romalotti from 1981-1990, 1993-1998 and 2002-2004, returns for several episodes, and actors Eileen Davidson and Lesli Kay cross over from sister show The Bold and the Beautiful as their characters attend the Restless Style party. Tatyana Ali appears as Roxanne, Patty Weaver appears as Gina Roma and Entertainment Tonight Correspondent Thea Andrews appears as herself.

    Congratulations to Y&R!
The Best of the Best … such a crime that it ended up on pay TV!
Channel Nine were fools for letting it go, as they have been with their treatment of so many other shows in the past year!

Such a pity that I never did win that comp to go to tour the set in the US!
