Aren’t the votes audited by Price Waterhouse or some other accounting firm? I don’t see how they could rig the votes when they’re independently audited. I’d say a shocking win like “E Street” back in 1992 would be more likely if the public were voting than the networks, because that show was only popular for a year or so thanks to the “Mr Bad” storyline. Even industry heavyweights like Daryl Somers have commented on how the public and the networks often have different opinions (e.g. when
“Hey Hey It’s Saturday” won a Logie after it had been axed – you’d think the Nine network would have vetoed that particular win to avoid any embarrassment if they’d really had a say over what went on).

TV Week has all of the past winners up online for every year since the Logies began (which is great!), but I’d also love to see a detailed list of the nominees from each year. David, do you know if these are available anywhere (other than the relevant issue of TV Week from each year)? I’d love to know about nominations for shows such as “Prisoner”.
