Terminator : Sarah Connor Chronicles renewed

Contrary to popular belief, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has survived an expected termination (!) and been given a renewal.
According to Michael Ausiello, “Although Fox declined comment, multiple sources confirm to me exclusively that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has been renewed for a second season.”
The renewal would come ahead of the last vote of confidence for the show: the remaining three episodes of the first series.
Nine has aired all the current eps of the show. No further news at this stage.

I have grown to love this show … particularly now that old 90210 cast member Brian Austin Green is in it!
I hope it does get to continue …
Jack!
Whose exactly popular belief was it that TSCC was going to be ‘terminated’? Because the popular belief in Hollywood was that the show was going to be renewed for a second season. Ausiello commented on it weeks ago, and on Hollywood Reporter site, TSCC was under the heading ‘Pending renewal’ rather than ‘On the bubble’…
If Blogger had those dancing-banana emoticons on board, I’d be putting one right here 🙂
This has to be the first good decision on the fate of a show that Fox has made in… err, well, forever. I’ll be more confident it’s true once I see Kristen getting excited about it on her E Online blog 🙂
Just a small correction though, David – the renewal can’t be coming ahead of “the remaining three episodes of the first series” as all 9 existing episodes have already aired in the US (and on Nine). The original season 1 order was for 13 episodes, but the last 4 were never made and presumably will not be.
great news but what do you mean about 3 remaining episodes of season 1, are there supposed to be 3 more still to come?
