AOK nicely undone by flu
Andrew O’Keefe had to cancel a recording of Deal or No Deal last week, due to illness, but it wasn’t for want of trying.
O’Keefe has had a lot on his plate recently with Deal, Rich List and Weekend Sunrise. But a bug meant the show didn’t go on for the compere this time.
On Thursday AOK recorded 5 eps of Deal with a shocking earache, then had network meetings that night. By Friday he woke up feeling unwell, but turned up for work anyway. Producers knew he wasn’t well enough to go on and sent him home.
By then it was late enough to unfortunately inconvenience the studio audience. But that’s showbiz.
By Sunday O’Keefe was back on set for Weekend Sunrise. No doubt a few vitamins and a bit of “R&R” are ‘on the list.’

actually, it is the other way round matthew
He flies down to Melbourne for Deal and Rich List as they record only every 2 weeks for Deal. Rich List is the same. They record several shows at once over a few days
How does that story about the golden goose go again? Maybe Seven might have to look at how much they are using him.
Is there any word on his talk show for 7HD or has that been scrapped again?
