Bumped: All New Simpsons
TEN has bumped next week’s new Simpsons episode, “TreeHouse of Horror 18″ by a week.
It will now air at Tuesday June 10.
Instead TEN will screen a one hour episode of Big Brother on Tue June 3 from 7pm, presumably to give more screen time to the three new intruders entering the House on Sunday night.
A repeat Simpsons episode follows at 8pm as usual.

Apparently the Simpsons is one of the shows with the highest number of downloads from Australia. From what i remember of this episode, it wouldn’t be scary to adults, however for kids it might be. And for the record, in the US version, big brother only has 3 hours per week, compared to 8 hours this week here.
Yeah, we are WAYYYYYY behind. But TEN doesn’t seem to care. If they can find any excuse to prolong the current season (i.e. the Big Brother special), they’ll take it since The Simpsons doesn’t have any ongoing story arcs, and audiences seem to flock over to watch the new episodes regardless of how far behind we are. Hell, even I’m watching them again despite having downloaded these very episodes 7 months ago.
Oh, and the violence in the next episode really isn’t that bad. The halloween episode doesn’t even come close to exceeding the PG rating here.
Australia is 16 episodes behind, the season ended in may with a total of 20 episodes. I read that this episode has the highest classification (due to the violence etc) of any simpsons episode in history.
