Want a bit more Logies goss?

Columnist Amanda Meade in today’s Australian reckons Anna Coren rudely talked through much of the awards presentation.

“One of the ABC’s top tables, with director of television Kim Dalton, Andrew Denton, Jennifer Byrne, John Clarke and Brian Dawe, was right next to Coren’s table,” she writes.

“The ABC guests were annoyed by her constant twittering, telling her to shut up while Clarke was being inducted into the Hall of Fame.”

But she also reckons 9AM’s Kim Watkins tripped up and spilled wine on Coren’s lap. Ooops.

Watkins, also reportedly popped by the Sunrise table to wish Seven’s Melissa Doyle good luck for the category in which Doyle had been nominated for Most Popular TV Presenter. Trouble was, that one had already been handed out four awards earlier and had gone to Rove. Ooops.
