Corey handcuffed after party night

Big Brother ‘guest’ Corey Worthington, who was determined to change the public’s perception of him, was handcuffed by police after trying to con his way into a Gold Coast nightclub this morning. He was issued with a $225 on-the-spot fine.

Police were called to a room at Mantra Sun City Resort which had allegedly been trashed by Worthington and his friends during a late-night party.

Bouncers at Shooters nightclub on the Gold Coast pounced on the 17-year-old when he tried to use a fake ID to get into popular Surfers Paradise nightclub Shooters about 2.20am.

Shooters spokeswoman Chloe Ferguson today confirmed Worthington had fronted the popular club with a less-than-convincing ID.

“You should have seen the ID he tried to use,” she said.

“When he was questioned by the security guard, he was being a smart a— and was just saying things like he didn’t care it was a fake ID and so on.”

Ms Ferguson said Worthington’s demeanour changed once police came and handcuffed him.

“He was walked through Surfers in handcuffs and, apparently, he looked really scared and everybody was giving him s–t.”

Worthington was out on the town in Surfers after being put up in the luxury resort by Big Brother producers.

Worthington’s agent Max Markson led with a predictable line that avoided any blame and sought to dismiss the damage to the hotel as a “minor incident”, saying the room had not been trashed but some chairs had been broken and there was a hole in the wall.

Get a load of what he said.

“He’s almost following in the tradition of The Who and the Rolling Stones,” Mr Markson said.

“If anything, I’d have liked to have seen him really trash the room.”

“He’s only young - if that’s the worst thing he ever does, that’s OK.”

Markson is also one of the judges who advised parents on how to run showbiz careers for their kids in My Kid’s a Star.

Worthington’s partying post Big Brother isn’t the first time one of the show’s participants has been in trouble after leaving the house. Simon ‘Hotdogs’ Deering guilty to three charges of creating a public nuisance by committing an indecent act in public in 2005.

And he got his own TV show.

No doubt the 6:30 shows on Seven and Nine will be tackling this one tonight…
