  1. AJ is an embarrassment to females, TV hosts and healthy weight management.
She lied about the extent of her weight loss and turned into a tanorexic, caricture of a woman.

  2. I’ve not seen very much of this show at all, probably only about 5 minutes sum total. I caught the very start of last Friday’s show where they were showing the final 3(?) a DVD of the “journey” of the previous 2 winners and I was struck by how emaciated last year’s winner looked.

I also saw a little bit of last night’s show and was shocked that the producers let the host go out looking like a midget drag queen.

Sam was always going to win (by hook or by crook) simply because he, even in the early, unavoidable ads, was blatantly the hottest guy.

  3. Joanne, while it may be true that men burn fat easier, we can’t forget Sam actually had to burn A LOT more fat off than Alison, hence the use of the percentage. I think it is all even in the end.

  4. Very disappointed Allison didn’t win. To be so close is so wrong, she worked so much harder (as woman have too, it is much easier for men and boys to lose weight) this is not fair, I would like to see the show fairer for woman.
If ever they do a family show, i would love to do it, Mum, son 24, Daughter 22. My husband is thin and eats everything, my youngest is a Junior Athlete.

  5. No sign of old JJ either. Doesn’t sound like the BL producers have even heard from him..what a strange bloke.

I am glad a PVR’d the final and watched it this morning, Loser finals have always been the most boring 2 hours of television for me. Watched the whole show in 45 minutes and didn’t miss a beat.

  6. No mention whether The Biggest Loser is returning in 2009. Any word on the streets that the series will return next year?
Boy, Ajay is now officially bigger than most of the contestants, what has happened to her?? she looked awful and very large even in a black dress!!
