  1. Dave? I remember reading ages back that the Aussie Networks have to show a marginal percentage of Australian made Content on TV (like radio stations having to play around 50% Australian Music)
does this code apply to when shows are aired? Say for instance the 7pm to 10:30pm time slot, do they have to show a larger percentage of Homegrown content during this time? Maybe it might explain these popular shows being aired at strange hours.

  2. I’ve been pondering this for a long time now.

Ch 7 treat the best shows like crap (Arrested Development, Family Guy, American Dad, Scrubs, 30 Rock etc). If Ch 10 did the smart thing and bought those shows and threw then in their schedule – Ch 10 will be a deadset winner.

  3. I agree with evil. They should definately play 30 Rock on primetime on 7HD.

11.30pm is a ridiculous timeslot for any show with a respectable cult following.

  4. Way to go 7, keep showing all the good stuff at ridiculously late timeslots just like you always have.

Did Futurama’s move to 10 or the DVD sales of Scrubs, Arrested Development, Family Guy etc. teach you nothing?

Alternatively, is it to much to ask to put it on the HD channel at 7:30 when crap like Border Patrol is on?

  5. I’ve seen the first nine episodes of season two and its even better than the first! The episode where Jack gives Tracy some “role play therapy” is one of the single funniest tv episodes EVER and ought to bag Alec Baldwin an Emmy.

Edie Falco turns up in a recurring role this season as well!
