Seven’s trivia game show is on the list as one of the busiest blokes in the biz returns with his third on air show, The Rich List.
It moves to a new day, Saturdays, beginning 7:30pm May 24.
To Seven’s credit, this is a gameshow that was axed in the US, but found a following in Australia. O’Keefe already has Deal or no Deal and weekend Sunrise on his plate. He has also has spoken about a nighttime variety show for 7HD too.
Seven appears to be addressing its Saturday schedule, by following List with a Drew Barrymore movie The Perfect Catch.
Recently, Seven has seen mixed fortunes on Saturdays and in tight races with Nine, it has even cost them a weekly win. Competing with ABC for older viewers played into the hands of Nine’s “family” programming. Now the two are essentially head to head for the same audience.

i didn’t think u guys got eurovision in australia.
mmm, a saturday slot for a show like this sounds to me like seven have no confidence in it at all, a la the final season of blue heelers..oh, and gershwin, ill be on SBS for eurovision as well, I cant wait, oh, and david, with the first semi for EV on Tuesday but not airing here till Friday, I trust you will have your usual spoiler warnings if you post the results before SBS air it : )
Will Channel 7 be happy with the ratings for 7.30pm on 24th May. Surely viewers will be tuned into SBS for the second Eurovision semi-final – the highlight of the year.
