Returning: The Rich List

Seven’s trivia game show is on the list as one of the busiest blokes in the biz returns with his third on air show, The Rich List.

It moves to a new day, Saturdays, beginning 7:30pm May 24.

To Seven’s credit, this is a gameshow that was axed in the US, but found a following in Australia. O’Keefe already has Deal or no Deal and weekend Sunrise on his plate. He has also has spoken about a nighttime variety show for 7HD too.

Seven appears to be addressing its Saturday schedule, by following List with a Drew Barrymore movie The Perfect Catch.

Recently, Seven has seen mixed fortunes on Saturdays and in tight races with Nine, it has even cost them a weekly win. Competing with ABC for older viewers played into the hands of Nine’s “family” programming. Now the two are essentially head to head for the same audience.

How many books written by Dr. Seuss can you list? Can you list the countries that played in the 2007 Cricket World Cup? ANDREW O’KEEFE returns with brand new episodes of Seven’s hit quiz show that sees pairs of strangers use knowledge and strategy to complete lists that can win them limitless amounts of money.

  1. mmm, a saturday slot for a show like this sounds to me like seven have no confidence in it at all, a la the final season of blue heelers..oh, and gershwin, ill be on SBS for eurovision as well, I cant wait, oh, and david, with the first semi for EV on Tuesday but not airing here till Friday, I trust you will have your usual spoiler warnings if you post the results before SBS air it : )

  2. Will Channel 7 be happy with the ratings for 7.30pm on 24th May. Surely viewers will be tuned into SBS for the second Eurovision semi-final – the highlight of the year.
