Garbage singer joins Sarah Connor Chronicles

Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson is joining Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

She will play Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company.

The sci-fi series is returning for a second season in the US later this year.

Season Two promises to “heighten the intensity of the Connor family’s situation as Sarah attempts to locate The Turk and John emerges into the leader he’s expected to be.”

Brian Austin Green will also remain as a regular.
