TEN finales in sight

Finales are looming for several of TEN’s key programmes later this month.

How to Look Good Naked ends on Monday June 23.

Sadly, Back to You has its last episode Wednesday June 25 with “Chuck and Kelly, Doin’ It Again”. Unfortunately, TEN does not appear to be screening the two completed, but unaired eps.

Law & Order:SVU ends Thursday June 26. And Medium also finishes the same night.

No word yet on what will replace these shows. Added with Dexter, the new TEN schedule from June 30 could feel like something of a mid-year re-launch for TEN.

  1. David, wasn’t Ten’s stated intention back when they pulled Burn Notice off air to show the remaining three season 1 episodes and then fast-track season 2? If so, it should be soon – season 2 starts in the US on July 10th.

That said, according to The Futon Critic, “the show’s second season will be split into two halves – fall 2008 (nine episodes) and 2009 (seven episodes)”.

That still gives Ten 12 episodes to show this year, certainly enough enough for a “season”.

  2. At the moment, Burn Notice is scheduled on the main TEN channel soon. Women’s Murder Club is not scheduled at the moment because it is hard to slot in 3 episodes of a cancelled show and expect viewers to care.

  3. Burn Notice maybe TEN HD at some point. WMC: I wouldn’t hold your breath. No point TEN bringing back 3 eps of a show with no future…..

  4. I’m waiting on Burn Notice do we know when that will be back?

Also is Women’s Murder Club coming back for the final 3 eps or do I have to DL them?

  5. Shows coming up on TEN:

Rush, Army Wives, Burn Notice, Criminal Intent, Law & Order, Dexter, Mark Warey Project, Kenny’s Toilet Tours, Bondi Rescue Bali, Bondi Vet, Saving Babies, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, Futurama, Friday Night Download, Pussycat Dolls, Good News Week.

  6. Heh I posted a message about this on the Coming Soon page a couple of hours ago. They should really screen the new Pussycat dolls season. Sure its another reality tv program, but its sexed up to the core, and horny adolescents like me will love it. The most likely option is just repeats of SVU and Medium a la what they’re doing with House and NCIS by screening them twice a week. It’d be nice to see some new programs though. Criminal Intent is always an option.

Actually, come to think of it, Swingtown premiered in the US just a couple of days ago. This would be a likely candidate for the Thursday 9:30pm slot if they fast-tracked it. It’d probably be better than more BB/Matt Groening/America’s Next Top Model/reruns anyway. Or there’s always more screenings of Mean Girls and About a Boy around the corner.

  7. Damn it I was hoping ch10 would air those 2 eps of “Back to You”, in the past 10 and 7 have aired eps of shows not aired in the US.

  8. TEN have enquired with Fox regarding any unaired episodes of Back To You, and Fox have replied saying that all available episodes of Back To You have aired in the U.S. and there are no un-aired episodes.

I would imagine if there were any un-aired episodes available that Fox would be keen to sell them to TEN to try to get as much money as possible out of a cancelled show.
