Psych only got 57,000 in Sydney, even behind a rpt of Top Gear 191,000.

Don’t forget national Footy Show figures are national (NRL / AFL)

  2. Ianblair23 June 23, 2008 at 8:55 am -

David, with Paul “Fatty” Vautin and The NRL Footy Show in the media all last week, was there an increase in ratings on Thursday night compared with the last few weeks.

Peter Sterling ended up hosting the program and they played a pre-recorded apology from Fatty.

Hey David, how did Psych rate in Sydney on Saturday?

  4. meiji-era June 21, 2008 at 11:33 pm -

I’m so much happy for ABC1′s Ratings…It is indeed improving

And never Mind Channel ten…It stinks,Just Like BB

  5. David Knox June 21, 2008 at 3:30 pm -

Sat / Sun News are separated from Mon-Fri figures. When we say “channel X won the week in news” it refers to M-F.

In Sydney Seven News is beating Nine News consistently across M-F. Sundays are a lot more competitive and it would be wrong of me to call a winner.

  6. Elucidator June 21, 2008 at 3:00 pm -

So does Nine News regularly beat Seven News in Sydney or was Sunday an aberration? If Seven News is regularly trailing then that would have to make Seven reconsider the obscene amount they pay Ian Ross, who has got to be the least talented TV personality in the country.

    Family Guy 525,000
    American Dad 404,000

  8. Benno June 21, 2008 at 11:13 am -

How does an original episode of American Dad do compared to a repeat of Family Guy?

  9. Barry June 16, 2008 at 5:36 pm -

How did the WWE go on Channel Nine

  10. Johnson June 16, 2008 at 4:07 pm -

According to OzTAM, Seven News won Melbourne (587,000 thanks to the AFL lead-in), Brisbane and Perth. Nine News won in Sydney and Adelaide.

  11. David Knox June 16, 2008 at 3:02 pm -

    Conchords had 406,000.

Seven News won Brisbane, but Nine won Sydney. While PBL Media can only control the east coast, its national figure will always be dragged down by performances it can’t control in SA and WA.

  12. disgruntled with the world June 16, 2008 at 12:48 pm -

hi david, could you tell me what flight of the conchords got if you know? cheers

  13. Ianblair23 June 16, 2008 at 11:08 am -

1.878 million viewers for Seven News that’s incredible!

Tell me David did Seven News win its slot in Sydney and Brisbane, the reason I ask is that the lead in to National Nine News is the highly popular Sunday afternoon NRL match in those markets.

I remember a few years ago that National Nine News Sunday was the number 1 of show on Sunday nights and on some occasions was the number 1 show of the week.

What do you think has caused this turn around?

  14. Billy June 16, 2008 at 10:48 am -

BigBrother with returning Kyle leaps back over 1 million…pity that the Mike Goldman argument no longer has much to back it up now… And TEN dips below ABC on a Sunday night!? WHOA. WHOA….WHOA.
