2008 Emmy nominations

And here they are the nominees for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The big winners are HBO’s miniseries John Adams, Mad Men, 30 Rock and cable television: Showtime, FX and AMC all have their first entries for a best series in the drama category.

There were other principal nods for Dexter, Boston Legal, Damages, House, Lost, The Office, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Two and a Half Men.

Australian Rachel Griffiths is nominated for Supporting actress in a drama series.

In other news, all the leading ladies of Desperate Housewives were snubbed (poor Felicity Huffman she put in quite a turn!). Survivor is snubbed in reality and Flight of the Conchords didn’t make the cut in Outstanding comedy.
