Big Brother: the finale

By David Knox on July 21, 2008 / Filed Under News 7

Terri has won Big Brother 2008, winning $250,000.

The 52yo grandmother defeated brickie Rory, while Ben was the first of the three housemates to be evicted.

The finale show included the return of all previous winners except Ben from series one, which was represented by the ever-popular Sara-Marie. As well as playing a montage of the life of the reality series, former host Gretel Killeen sent wishes from her appearance in the stage production of The Rocky Horror Show.

Big Brother is shutting up shop. The finale for series 8, and as an eight-year reality juggernaut for TEN is underway.

As Ben, Rory and Terri vie for the final winner’s title, TEN is reminding us of the series’ vast history.

Boy David, you are certainly keeping this blog up to date. I’m hoping Terri gets up there! But Rory is a close second for me.

That was great seeing gretel, it reminded me how good this show could be in its prime. I’ve avoided this year as much as possible, but i’m watching tonight, mainly for old time’s sake.
