Disorder in Judge Judy’s court

Kudos to the cameramen who kept filming in Judge Judy’s court yesterday when that earth tremor hit. Judge Judy practically did a George Costanza fire run here, neglecting to dismiss any of her hired extras.

Meanwhile over at the Big Brother house, there was equal confusion.

Situated some 45 miles from the epicentre, the reality show contestants immediately gathered in the garden when the incident occurred.

One housemate Michelle commented, “Now I know why I don’t want to live in California. At least I get a warning when there’s a hurricane or a blizzard coming.”

Initially, fellow contestant Jerry speculated that the shake, which measured 5.4 on the Richter scale, may have been caused by Big Brother or a truck being crashed into the compound.

A producer said, “We made sure they felt safe. But they went back to business right after.”

Nobody said earthquakes were in their contracts!
