Home and Away’s Jodi Gordon is set to be the next Summer Bay cast member to join Dancing With The Stars.

Reports today name her as a contender for the eighth series, despite no official confirmation from Channel 7. Update: since confirmed on Sunrise.

She will would follow the path of soapie colleagues including Bec Cartwright, Ada Nicodemou, Jason Smith, Chris Hemsworth and Tim Campbell. Holly Brisley even went from DWTS to Home and Away.

So far there is no confirmation on the series host, despite some talk it would go to Shane Bourne. Recently he said he was too busy to take on the role.
