Porn screens during NZ rugby

By David Knox on July 6, 2008 / Filed Under News 8

Nearly four minutes of porn was broadcast during a segment of New Zealand’s Toyota Grassroots (what a title) rugby program.

The “Desperate Blackwives 2″ segment from Sky TV’s adult pay-per-view Spice channel would have screened in the Auckland region and Sky digital.

Other television channels were quick to report on the botch-up, with TV3 reporting how disgusted and shocked viewers were when the porn suddenly appeared on their screens.

Prime Television spokesman Tony O’Brien said technicians had established there was a mix-up in the distribution process and that the network apologised for any offence caused.

A ‘sheepish’ excuse if ever there was one?

It was really confusing when it came on, as i hadn’t seen Desperate Blackwives 1. I didn’t know the story arc.
