Returning: Back to You, Engagement. Bumped: Futurama.

TEN will finally play the last two episodes of Back To You when the show makes a brief return in a change to TEN’s Thursday night line-up.

Next week Futurama is out of schedule, when Rules of Engagement returns at 7:30pm.

It is followed by the second last ep of Back to You.

Its last ever episode airs on Thurs July 31. Neither of these episodes screened in the US.

It will be great to see the final hurrah for this short-lived, and promising sitcom which took its leave too soon.

No word yet if Futurama returns to 8pm on July 7 yet.

I expect it will. What else would Ten put in that slot? Mark Loves Sharon?

As for RoE, I wonder how long it’ll last this time. I give it 2 weeks.

    Thanks David.

RoE has 5 more eps in it’s 2nd season to air here, maybe Futurama and RoE?

RoE has also been renewed for a 3rd season!

That’s true lancer. The only bad part about that is it isn’t coming back until midseason (February-ish) in the US.

Not being a viewer of mainstream teev in Aus by personal choice more your scifi/paranormal watcher.

Although I haven’t checked with TEN HD for my Site and Forums yet, I’m pretty sure Futurama will retain it’s 7.30/8.30 slot before Smallville’s S7 E17 ep Sleeper, X-Files and Jericho on Thu 24JUL08 - Cheers: gasbo.net

What about The Office at 8.00pm..?

Come on ten, why not cash in on the fact that Steve Carell’s also a Box office star in Get Smart at the moment.

I don’t think that RoE and Futurama are compatible in the slightest. I think TEN should hold onto Futurama until next year where it can be slotted alongside The Simpsons and Cleveland.

The next portion of the current Futurama season "The Beast With a Billion Bucks" is released on DVD on August 6. I'd say Ten can't show these episodes until well after that date.

The portion after this is "Bender's Game" which wont be released on DVD and Blu-Ray until December 10 (for Xmas of course). Can't wait to see HD Futurama on BD.

Has anyone seen the new comedy "20 Good Years" that starts on 9HD late Thursday night?

From the limited synopsis I've seen it doesn't look too bad, even if it only lasted barely a season in the US.

Happy Hour on Monday nights on 9HD wasn't too bad either. Not hilarious, but mildly amusing.

Good thinking Stevie, The Office would be great!! Although I just don’t see Ten playing it there, it’d be a fantastic choice. I’ve been downloading episodes onto my iPod and its such a compelling show. The characters are fascinating. In the end, Ten will probably place a Matt Groening Cartoon there. Unless they finally decide to air Life of Leisure, James Mathison from Australian Idol’s rejected comedy series.

Got something to say?
