Roberta Williams is said to have been approached for Dancing with the Stars.
An appearance by the former wife of Carl Williams would echo the first series when Pauline Hanson began a reinvention of her life, following a stint behind bars.
So far Williams has been closely aligned with the Nine Network, mostly through A Current Affair.
Other names said to be considered include Nova’s Cal Wilson, boxer Danny Green, Gladiators’ Tiffiny Hall, actor Toni Pearen, former singer Stephanie McIntosh as well as international stars including Gordon Ramsay, Carson Kressley, Brian McFadden and Tara Reid. But you can cross Ramsay’s name off due to his heavy schedule. Carson Kressley is also unlikely given he has just been given his own chat show in the US.
Dancing has also gone and signed So You Think You Can Dance latin hotfoot Henry Byalikov.
Following the live tour of the show he is expected to go into five weeks of training with his celebrity partner.
The show is expected to confirm a new 7:30pm Sunday timeslot with Larry Emdur as host.
