If ever there was a reason to stay in on Saturday nights (well apart from SBS’ new schedule) its for a season of Hitchcock mysteries coming to ABC next month.
David Stratton will present five classic films beginning with James Stewart and Grace Kelly in the 1954 film, Rear Window (yes that’s the one The Simpsons parodied with Bart supposedly seeing Ned Flanders kill Maude).
The films will screen on ABC2 from September 20.
Starting Saturday September 20 on ABC2 at 8:30pm, David Stratton presents a season of Alfred Hitchcock movies:
Saturday 20th September – Rear Window
Saturday 27th September – Man Who Knew Too Much
Saturday 4th October – Suspicion
Saturday 11th October – Vertigo
Saturday 18th October – Frenzy

Shame they arn’t showing Psycho, although I’d imagine it would be the most expensive to get the rights too.
