From tonight the Nine Network adds a 5 min news update Nine Late News.

It screens weeknights, usually at 11:30pm.

This News follows the axing of Nightline two weeks ago, doubtless at none of the cost of the show that ended after fifteen years.

Nine doesn’t indicate who is presenting the brief bulletin, simply saying, “Catch the latest news from National Nine News, including sport and weather.”
