The show will launch post Olympics.
: Damian Walshe-Howling will make his debut as a primetime TV presenter when he takes on the role of host for Channel Seven’s exciting new factual project CRASH INVESTIGATION UNIT.
CRASH INVESTIGATION UNIT will premiere after the Beijing Olympics with Damian performing both narrative and on-camera duties.
Damian’s career to date has been filled with impressive performances on some of Australia’s favourite drama series.
His most notable roles include the long-time audience favourite Constable Adam Cooper on Blue Heelers and the screen-stealing role of the so-called “charming thug” Andrew “Benji” Veniaman on Underbelly.
Now, having explored the fictional side of the law from both sides as an actor, Damian gets a front row seat to witness the inspirational police work of real-life crash investigators, a rarely recognised group of highly-skilled motor sleuths.
As the host, Damian will guide viewers through the work of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit as they piece together a tragic new case each week.
