Kids WB goes live

It’s almost like the days of Hey Hey again….

This Saturday Channel Nine’s kids programme Kids WB hosted by Georgia Sinclair and Shura Taft, will go live to air for this first time from GTV9.

It will follow up with live shows on August 16, 23 and 30th and feature a live show from Movie World on the Gold Coast on September 13.

From 7:30 to 10:30am the show will go out live to air with various segments including the Wheel, Funny Bunny, Letters, Kids WB Olympics, surprises and giveaways. Georgia and Shura will also be able to interact with kids at home live.

Kids WB has been hosted by the duo for two years, but normally in pre-record. At a time when the network is looking to cut costs, Nine says it makes a saving by not having to add editing costs.

No other kids TV programme goes out live to air anymore, so it will be worth seeing that crazy antics the pair get up to. After all, that’s how Hey Hey its Saturday became an institution. Sinclair and Taft (seen here in an ageing makeup stunt) are said to be rapt at the challenge.

The show airs this Saturday 7:30am on Nine.
