Actress in airport domestic

Neighbours Carla Bonner was at the centre of an airport altercation on the weekend after she allegedly argued with an airline attendant during a dispute about oversized luggage.

“I am in the process of lodging a formal complaint about an incredibly rude staff member who I am sure regrets his behaviour,” Bonner told news.com.au.

“It’s a shame because the other Jetstar staff I dealt with were terrific and very supportive.”

Bonner was barred from catching the flight from Melbourne to Newcastle.

The actress, who yesterday denied she had been at fault, was checking in at Tullamarine when onlookers said she took offence when a male desk attendant told her he would need to measure her hand luggage as it appeared too large.

Bonner’s fare meant she could only take hand luggage on the plane.

A heated exchange is said to have followed and Bonner ended up staying in Melbourne.

Sounds to me like she took offence to something tiny and needs to snap out of the diva attitude. He was doing his job and should only be reprimanded if he was actually verbally rude to her about it.

How ridiculous – not only has she tried to use her ‘celebrity’ status to influence things, how could she have possible missed the extremely well-pulicised introduction of such fares with no included check-in luggage… there was talk on sizing and weights for weeks.

bless, I used to work for Ansett on check in and at boarding gates back in the day, ‘actual’ celebrities were always fine, most rather pleasant actually, it was always the little soapie starlets that think their celebrity is much greater than it actually is that were rude and problematic…

Why do actors, especially ones from no-name shows, feel they are above the rules? The poor dude was probably just doing his job, and she comes along and ruins his day – typical “it was my fault” attitude.
