Neighbours‘ Caitlin Stasey, who plays Rachel Kinski, will film her final scenes for the TEN soap next month to focus on studies.

“I want to know that when I finish my exams and get my score, it is representative of my abilities,” the 18yo told news.com.au

“My exams start in November and I want to be able to give them my full concentration.”

But her character will not be killed off because the team at Neighbours said it was leaving the door open for her to return to the show.

    didn’t erin mcnaught leave this show before her appearance ever went to air? how far in advance do they shoot neighbours coz she has been on it for ages. she is the most painful-to-watch actor, she is absolutely horrible, when will we see the end of her?

  4. best news ever. Get lost Rachel Kinski. I really hated her character. 🙂 I’ll give Caitlyn credit she played her very well especially during the Angus Bangus fall out at hte beginning of the year 🙂 . But not going to miss Rachel at all.

  7. erin mcnaught’s coming back? what a horrible idea. bindi; i saw her in one episode and it was painful to watch her try and ‘act’. She was useless. very stupid bringing her back for Neighbours. I’m not a fan these days since all these new people came in and the show has just gotten worse and worse but Caitlin was one of the few who could act. Poor neighbours really cant win. they should take it off and whack the simpsons on 😀

  8. I figured she’d be leaving eventually, though I didn’t tihnk it would be for exams! I figured she;d branch off with her own music career or something in the near future. Good to see she’s not following the pack like that.
    As for how she leaves – I’d love it if she somehow reconnected with Angus, but considering she’s kissing Ty up there I kinda doubt that will happen. There aren’t a lot of other ways Rachel could/would leave though, that Susan would allow. Maybe heading off to university or moving out.

  10. Excellent her character is one of the most annoying and I was hoping she’d be killed off..ah well.. The only time she was tolerable was when she was with Angus and the writers screwed that one up.

  12. Noooo!! She’s the hottest babe on the show. Not that I watch this Days of Our Lives spinoff but sometimes when I watch the commercials I get an eyeful of her character and I am pleased. Oh well
