Lily Tomlin is rumoured to be joining the fifth season of Desperate Housewives.
The show returns to US screens on September 28 but is unlikely to air until February in Australia.
As we already know, the show is fast-forwarding -permanently- five years into the future. Given the story leap, Seven will have a fight on its hands to keep curious fans from downloading episodes and satisfying their curiosity.
Now then, as for the inclusion of Lily Tomlin onto the serial….

According to ‘sources’ close to the show, Lily’s character arrives on Wisteria Lane to help out a sibling who has fallen ill.
But who? Edie? Those two gay neighbours who never have a storyline? How about the wonderful Mrs McCluskey?

If 7 hold back shows, people will just download, and when they finally do air them, noone will be watching. LOL.
I’d like to know just “who” David, but wouldn’t it be interesting to see Lily on ‘DH’. She was like the original desperate housewife, or rather working girl, on ’9 to 5′.
She’s funny and would be good on the show, I think.
I’m sure many fan will be desperate to check this out on line before Seven airs it, and they had the nerve to list this at the start of the year as a show that were fasttracking this year, I guess they counted the last few of S4 which they did ’cause of the short US season LOL
