dear channel 7, i have already seen the first episode of prison break. i will not wait for your crummy station to show the 1st ep of heroes either. listen to the people on these boards and just shown the darn shows as soon as they air overseas… why delay it and recieve abysmal ratings???

The sooner networks broadcast US shows the better. As people (i.e. the average Sunrise viewer) get more and more net savvy and download aware viewer leakage will increase and so the networks will lose their ad revenue. Let’s face it the cinemas have workedout that delaying a release date for a Dark Knight or a Indy VI to suit an Australian summer holiday doesn’t work so why don’t the networks follow suit? I blame the ratings system for not evolving with the digital age.

I would love to know when Seven plans on showing Heroes and Prison Break. I’d be willing to watch them on tv if they are shown soon after the US. Prison Break started yesterday in the US, so I think I shall have to download it.

I was kicking myself for not recording this yesterday, but this is 2008 so kind knew it would show up online sooner or later.

Loved how they were caught off guard, good on the guys, now maybe ch7 will air Heroes (and Prison Break) sooner rather than later?

But did you get the feeling Koch knew more than he was letting on, like with the ratings ch7 may not be planing to show them so soon?
