Burn Notice and Psych renewed
Despite their treatment in Oz, both Burn Notice and Psych are getting more episodes overseas.

Not that it may mean much in Australia, but Burn Notice and Psych have been renewed by the cable network, USA. Both shows received orders for 16 episodes.
For Burn Notice it is a third season and the fourth for Psych.
New episodes of Psych are currently screening on TEN HD 10:30pm Wednesdays, but are well behind in the first season.
Burn Notice meanwhile is in a state of limbo on TEN with two episodes left unaired.
New episodes for both shows are scheduled to kick off in the US in January, although Psych has a special Christmas-themed hour in late November.

Can someone please tell me what the song is that is used in the adverts for Psych…I get it stuck in my head every time I see the ad.
Thanks
I don’t get the HD channels but I’m guessing 10 are still up to the first season. The SD channel showed about six episodes until they pulled it for no reason.
I hope the second season comes out on DVD here soon because I thoroughly enjoyed the first one.
Maybe networks could have little note at end of programme – only 25 episodes behind.
When comparing the Australian and American T.V. systems, things need to change here.
I love both shows. Glad they’ve been renewed. It will be season 4 for Psych, and 3 for Burn Notice.
BTW, no comparison bw Psych and the Mentalist. One is a comedy, one is a drama.
The fourth season of Psych?! What the hell am I watching on Ten HD then?!
I like how in The Mentalist he used to pretend to be a Psychic but now he’s not. As a skeptic, that appeals to me a lot. (or is it “sceptic”?)
As opposed to Psych, where he isn’t a Psychic but pretends he is, as that just bothers me. His charm just doesn’t manage to win me over, so I’m not a fan.
This is great news! It was expected that Psych would be renewed but I wasn’t quite sure how well Burn Notice was doing. I’m so glad both will return because they’re both fantastic shows.
I’m glad Burn Notice will be getting more episodes this time around. The first season only had twelve episodes and the second had fourteen.
I gave ch10 all kinds of slack with Burn Notice but needed to see the 2 unaired eps, great cliff hanger for the break BTW. I gave up on Psych (we dont get 10HD here) lucky the S1 and 2 DVDs are out in the US.
I’d rather watch Psych than the Menatlist any day! Dito for Burn Notice over The Strip!
