It’s slime time again

It’s that time of year again when bucketloads of gooey green slime are unloaded onto agreeable celebrities in the name of ….well in the name of slime, really.

Nickelodeon’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards 2008 take place on Saturday at HiSense Arena (formerly Vodafone), Melbourne, and screening at 6:30pm Saturday on Nickleodeon. Hosted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte alongside WWE’s John Cena, it will include Rove McManus, Brian McFadden, Stephanie Rice, the Australian Idol finalists, Shane Warne, Liesal Jones, Sally McLennon, Bindi Irwin, with performances by Ricki-Lee, Operator Please and Short Stack.

Strolling the ‘Orange Carpet’ tomorrow are Peter Rowsthorn, KissChasy, Nikki Coghill, Rebel Wilson, the class from Fifth Grader, Anthony Koutoufides, Stefan Dennis, Amy Beckwith, Kate Alexa, Lachlan Buchanan, Bree Amer and Mike Goldman.

    Doees anyone know how you get tickets to this? my niece and nephew wanted to go and I put my name down at ticketmaster months ago, where they advertised that they would sell tickets, but nothing… :(

    oh damn! even though ticketmaster advertised, tix were sold thru ticketek!!! that makes sense doesnt it?

    For those who don’t have tickets, the Nickelodeon telecast will be shown on the big screen at Melbourne’s Federation Square this Saturday from 6.30pm. Note that it is a delayed telecast as the event is held in the afternoon.
