Grundy stars ‘come on down’
More on the celebrations for the 85th birthday of legendary Mr. Reg Grundy sees many veterans of the biz on the guest list: Brian Henderson, Ernie Sigley, Ken Rosewall, Alan Jones, Larry Emdur, Ray Hadley, David Leckie, photographer Douglas Kirkland and even two men who worked as camera operators on the first season of Wheel of Fortune.
Guests will gather at a Sydney hotel on Thursday night.
These days Grundy is retired in Bermuda with wife Joy Chambers, an author and former actress.
Grundy’s birthday was on August 4, but the celebrations will continue in the Southern Highlands of NSW for a weekend of wining and dining.
