90210 on Monday, then Sunday.

Updated: See new schedule below.

90210 will air as a Sunday 7:30pm show for summer.

“Hollywood Forever”, the seventh episode in the series screens on Sunday November 30th, but it follows the show returning next week on Monday night. We’re haven’t even started summer and already shows are moving nights…

TEN’s first week of summer will also include the return of America’s Next Top Model, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Orange Roughies and Big Cat Diary. Meanwhile, Neighbours, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Out of the Blue and The Office continue.

Army Wives, featuring Kim Delaney will also premiere. The US drama follows the lives of four army wives, their families plus one “army husband” whose wife is in the army. The first week of summer will also include a new special on Britney Spears.

But there are a lot of repeats coming from TEN including The Simpsons, House, Numb3rs, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Will and Grace and Rules of Engagement.

Initial plans for Thank God You’re Here, Ice Road Truckers, Swingtown, Burn Notice and even (gasp) MacGyver are shelved.

somehow i didn’t think macgyver would ever happen,

“Initial plans for Thank God You’re Here, Ice Road Truckers, Swingtown, Burn Notice and even (gasp) MacGyver are shelved.”

Are you talking about repeats or new episodes or Burn Notice? So 10 was going to show it again but decided not to?

And MacGyver? I’m surprised that was even considered. I adore the show myself but I thought 10 would want to stay away from “old fogie shows” (as they seem to think).

And wow, Army Wives. I never thought it would be shown here. I would’ve preferred it to have been on 7 though.

  4. Luke November 19, 2008 at 11:09 pm -

I’m liking the look of Sunday night at the moment, kind of.

    Ideal Schedule
    6:30pm America’s Next Top Model S8
    7:30pm 90210
    8:30pm Gossip Girl
    9:30pm Veronica Mars
    10:30pm One Tree Hill

I can dream can’t I. It’s clear that Gossip Girl should be with Network TEN.

Start the night with a bit of reality then slowly up the quality and depth of storylines with each show. Veronica Mars should be the latest in that case, however I want to still feel awake while I’m enjoying the show. One Tree Hill, I love however it just doesn’t fit in Australian early Primetime in my eyes.

  5. Benno November 19, 2008 at 10:01 am -

Anthony Anderson joins the team in place of Jesse L. Martin, and it’s a bit hard to take him seriously.

  6. Katrina November 19, 2008 at 12:27 am -

Why don’t they show the new eps of Law & Order? I was enjoying the new ada, and they ripped it off after only a couple of episodes. (and it’s one that’s difficult to find on the net).

And are they ever going to return to Meerkat Manor?

  7. knoxoverstreet November 19, 2008 at 12:19 am -

I have fond memories of MacGyver being a summer fixture for a few years back in the early 90’s IIRC. Would have been nice to relive that even though I intend on buying the DVDs.

And Someone BBBA I might just check out that site..i’ve just started watching a little of Californication and it’s a brilliant show.

  8. ali November 19, 2008 at 12:17 am -

House is on air in the US until 2 Dec.

  9. ali November 19, 2008 at 12:14 am -

    Bring back MacGyver!!

  10. tai November 19, 2008 at 12:03 am -

i know ‘law & order’ didn’t rate well and after only a few eps of the season they stopped airing it. so why doesn’t ten air them during the non rating period?

  11. Harry November 18, 2008 at 8:01 pm -

Im watching Rush again too.. missed the first eps.

  12. Neon Kitten November 18, 2008 at 6:52 pm -

TVviewer, Californication has 12 episodes in season 2 (season 1 was 12 episodes as well), as Craig correctly said earlier. No idea where Ten is up to (in the US episode 8 just aired) because I download it in HD by default to avoid Ten’s censorship, ads that don’t belong there and also because it’s mostly pre-empted on TenHD by obscure sport.

I was hoping Ten would air their two backlogged Burn Notice episodes, but now it appears they have to go on the download list as well.

And what a shame they haven’t scheduled Swingtown! It’s a very entertaining, well made show. Kind of shameful that they have that at hand unaired and yet are happy to pump out more of the same tired old shows on repeat…

  13. stevie g November 18, 2008 at 6:37 pm -

Interesting Sunday 7.30 was the original 90210s home when it was at its peak. it started off on Fridays though over summer untill its auidiance built. I hope it does they same and we see the episodes uninterupted over Summer. Gosh MacGiver? that was a Summer time show back when it was on in the 80s, been there, done that.
Phillip love your line Sunday line up.

  14. Sillygostly November 18, 2008 at 6:19 pm -

There are only 12 episodes in the current season of Californication. Ten have already aired the first 7.

  15. Someone BBBA November 18, 2008 at 6:11 pm -

I sure as hell hope Californication is just resting over the summer and that it hasn’t been axed because of those a***holes over at Salt Shakers running a campaign against the advertisers (32 have pulled out so far – make sure you go over to the Salt Shaker’s website and remember never to buy anything from those companies again).

But even if it is just resting, what’s the point? There’s only three episodes to go, seeing as this season goes for 10 episodes rather than 12.

I wasn’t even aware that they were planning on airing Swingtown, but it sounds interesting so that’s another disappointment.

  16. Craig November 18, 2008 at 5:37 pm -

OT – Maybe ch9 could be the talk show channel for it’s 2nd digital channel

  17. David Knox November 18, 2008 at 5:26 pm -

    Hugh: Or Patti and Selma.

  18. Craig November 18, 2008 at 5:22 pm -

PJ – Craig Fergerson isn’t even on PayTV as far as I know…

  19. Hugh November 18, 2008 at 5:11 pm -

MacGyver at 7 would be a masterstroke for Ten. My mum wouldn’t be the only one watching I bet.

  20. knoxoverstreet November 18, 2008 at 4:14 pm -

The Daily show is hilarious from what I’ve seen..kudos to 10 for showing it. But i agree some other late shows would be great..just not Leno!..would love to see Conan on FTA for eg. Next to Dave the funniest guy on tv.

  21. Matthew See November 18, 2008 at 3:46 pm -

I for one am glad that 90210 7:30pm Monday slot is not permanent as it clashes with Monk on TV1.

  22. PJ November 18, 2008 at 3:07 pm -

oh for goodness sake! The Daily show on Sunday??? Great that we have Lettermen, but where oh where is the funniest show, the late late show with Craig Fergerson?!? I hope when digital comes into affect next year, we get the ‘other’ shows that are never shown that the networks horde from payTV

  23. David Knox November 18, 2008 at 2:55 pm -

I don’t see any sign of Californication. Rush returns from Ep 1.

  24. William November 18, 2008 at 2:48 pm -

I am very glad Ten is repeating ‘Rush’, I missed the first few episodes and therefore never gave it a go, now I can :)

  25. Jason November 18, 2008 at 2:42 pm -

Best Friday night Lineup Ten has had in forever – Numb3rs and Law & Order should attract a decent older audience on Fridays and Simpsons reruns will do much better than Ice Road Truckers

  26. bindi November 18, 2008 at 2:38 pm -

oprah is on thursday craig, hamish and andy are on wednesday but the 2nd half of the most recent futurama movie will be on the wednesday after that.

  27. TVviewer November 18, 2008 at 2:29 pm -

Er, where exactly does it state 10 isn’t going to show Californication over summer? Or going to finish it off, how ever many episodes there are for season 2?

  28. RichoTB November 18, 2008 at 2:25 pm -

That’s a good lineup, much better than the atrocity that is Channel Nine. At least when Ten pick up a new series (Army Wives) they give it a shot at an 8:30pm slot, instead of shafting it to 10:30pm like other networks. I think it would have been a better idea to put Rush on at 8:30pm Wednesdays or Thursdays though, it would have given it a better shot at finding an audience instead of ancient House and CI repeats. Also great to see Rules of Engagement back, one of the best sitcoms at the moment. Although it would have probably been better if they put it in the 7pm slot instead of Will and Grace, they have 22 eps which they could play and it would gain the show a large audience. At least its something recent. Or they could go the logical route and give The Office a decent shot as they are 2 seasons behind the US at the moment, but that is highly unlikely

  29. Chris November 18, 2008 at 1:32 pm -

What happened to Futurama on Wednesdays? Bloody Oprah taking over Futurama! They should have moved Oprah in to a later time slot.

  30. Craig November 18, 2008 at 12:50 pm -

Californication only has 12 eps in S2 and it ends mid Dec in the US.

I was hoping they would keep it going since we are just on week behind them but if they take it off then I’ll have to get them from my friend :D

  31. Johnson November 18, 2008 at 12:44 pm -

House and NCIS are continuing in the US, it is just that Ten won’t air new episodes during summer. Plus, in America, it is coming towards Thanksgiving at the end of November when many dramas (including House and NCIS) are taking their mid-season breaks.

  32. Benno November 18, 2008 at 12:11 pm -

David, will 10 be repeating all the Rush episodes?

  33. knoxoverstreet November 18, 2008 at 11:58 am -

Rick to quote the KMan that’s kooky talk. No network is going to waste new eps of their successful shows during summer.

Not a bad line-up from 10 (not as good as 9s but better then 7s) the highlight being the excellent Numb3rs and more NCIS rpts. Of course had they gone ahead with MacGyver it would have been the highlight of the entire summer!!

  34. Phillip Hollins November 18, 2008 at 11:49 am -

    will & grace. bad decision,
    90210, good decision,
i reckon channel ten should have like a “teen night”
with 90210, supernatural, smallville, and get gossip girl from channel 9.
    sundays could be teen night:)
    7:30 – 90210
    8:30 – Gossip Girl
    9:30 – Smallville
    10:30 – supernatural

  35. Harry November 18, 2008 at 11:30 am -

Where are all the new eps of NCIS? They cant have finished already!
Good move by TEN putting 90210 on Sundays. Will definitely attract a bigger audience. Thankgod Will & Grace is still on too :) How many repeats are the planning to show? Good Lord!

  36. bindi November 18, 2008 at 11:28 am -

i don’t think there were very many shows i was waiting for 10 to bring back in summer besides 90210. but 9 has been a real disappointment as there were a few shows they were supposed to air and aren’t. so now we are just waiting for 7, and hopefully they will be the best and not pull a 9 by not airing the shows people have been waiting for. this summer was looking good until the networks decided to put on repeats instead of new shows that are sitting on the shelf, guess i’ll be catching up on my dvds.

  37. Benno November 18, 2008 at 11:27 am -

According to epguides.com/house these are the upcoming episodes:

    94. 5- 8 18 Nov 08 Emancipation
    95. 5- 9 25 Nov 08 Last Resort
    96. 5-10 2 Dec 08 Let Them Eat Cake

I’m sure a new episode of house opposite repeat competition will draw in more viewers if they fast-track the (i assume) last episode for the year.

  38. Rick November 18, 2008 at 11:12 am -

So no more “seriously fastracked” House? I understand that it’s a program they want to screen during the ratings season, but come on, it’s on until the end of May. You’d think they’d be able to fastrack House for it’s entire US season, then between May and September find something else to stick in there…

  39. Bogues November 18, 2008 at 10:57 am -

One thing that really gets up my nose is when networks intertwine new episodes with repeats. Seems that the are doing that the House in the 8:30pm slot. And personally, I’m not happy that Californication has been taken off the air. Back to channel BT for me :-)

  40. Jake November 18, 2008 at 10:43 am -

Good to see Don’t Forget The Lyrics is back, it was a summer ratings hit last year. Just a shame it isn’t on twice a week like last summer.

  41. Kirk November 18, 2008 at 10:18 am -

andy – Ten aren’t showing The Office nor Californication during the Summer :(

  42. andy November 18, 2008 at 10:05 am -

pfft. more rubbish from ten. if it wasn’t for the office I wouldn’t be watching ten at all this summer.

  43. Joshua November 18, 2008 at 9:46 am -

I’ll take MacGyver over Two and a Half Men anyday!!!1

  44. Benno November 18, 2008 at 9:44 am -

Why would they put repeats of the original law and order when they are already a whole season behind? Idiocy.

  45. Phillip Hollins November 18, 2008 at 8:43 am -

ok now i’m already getting scared this show will never screen. i’ve been waiting for it’s return. and now channel ten is already moving it around. It’s not even gonna be in the ratings period. so why bother moving it??? Keep it in one slot!

  46. Craig November 18, 2008 at 8:08 am -

They only have 2 Burn Notice eps left until it returns in January in the US.

Ice Road Truckers – has 2 season and ch10 have shown a hand full of eps.

Pity 90210 is moving to Sundays but at least they are showing it.

  47. bindi November 18, 2008 at 7:45 am -

aw watching macgyver would have been cool, i don’t think i ever really saw the early episodes, probably saw the odd one here or there but mostly my knowledge of it is just from the simpsons and other shows and movies that make reference to it. i think they should start reviving some of these old series, tv on dvd is hugely popular and with extra digital channels they will have more time to fill so doing what pay tv does and showing repeats of old shows could have been good.

  48. ryan November 18, 2008 at 5:35 am -

so are they going to play new ncis eps still??? if they do i rekon it would be a major winner for them
