90210 on Monday, then Sunday.

UPDATED: All the details of TEN's first week of summer are here, with 90210 leading Sunday nights.

Updated: See new schedule below.

90210 will air as a Sunday 7:30pm show for summer.

“Hollywood Forever”, the seventh episode in the series screens on Sunday November 30th, but it follows the show returning next week on Monday night. We’re haven’t even started summer and already shows are moving nights…

TEN’s first week of summer will also include the return of America’s Next Top Model, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Orange Roughies and Big Cat Diary. Meanwhile, Neighbours, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Out of the Blue and The Office continue.

Army Wives, featuring Kim Delaney will also premiere. The US drama follows the lives of four army wives, their families plus one “army husband” whose wife is in the army. The first week of summer will also include a new special on Britney Spears.

But there are a lot of repeats coming from TEN including The Simpsons, House, Numb3rs, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Will and Grace and Rules of Engagement.

Initial plans for Thank God You’re Here, Ice Road Truckers, Swingtown, Burn Notice and even (gasp) MacGyver are shelved.

  1. “Initial plans for Thank God You’re Here, Ice Road Truckers, Swingtown, Burn Notice and even (gasp) MacGyver are shelved.”

Are you talking about repeats or new episodes or Burn Notice? So 10 was going to show it again but decided not to?

And MacGyver? I’m surprised that was even considered. I adore the show myself but I thought 10 would want to stay away from “old fogie shows” (as they seem to think).

And wow, Army Wives. I never thought it would be shown here. I would’ve preferred it to have been on 7 though.

  2. I’m liking the look of Sunday night at the moment, kind of.

    Ideal Schedule
    6:30pm America’s Next Top Model S8
    7:30pm 90210
    8:30pm Gossip Girl
    9:30pm Veronica Mars
    10:30pm One Tree Hill

I can dream can’t I. It’s clear that Gossip Girl should be with Network TEN.

Start the night with a bit of reality then slowly up the quality and depth of storylines with each show. Veronica Mars should be the latest in that case, however I want to still feel awake while I’m enjoying the show. One Tree Hill, I love however it just doesn’t fit in Australian early Primetime in my eyes.

  3. Why don’t they show the new eps of Law & Order? I was enjoying the new ada, and they ripped it off after only a couple of episodes. (and it’s one that’s difficult to find on the net).

And are they ever going to return to Meerkat Manor?

  4. I have fond memories of MacGyver being a summer fixture for a few years back in the early 90’s IIRC. Would have been nice to relive that even though I intend on buying the DVDs.

And Someone BBBA I might just check out that site..i’ve just started watching a little of Californication and it’s a brilliant show.

  5. i know ‘law & order’ didn’t rate well and after only a few eps of the season they stopped airing it. so why doesn’t ten air them during the non rating period?

  6. TVviewer, Californication has 12 episodes in season 2 (season 1 was 12 episodes as well), as Craig correctly said earlier. No idea where Ten is up to (in the US episode 8 just aired) because I download it in HD by default to avoid Ten’s censorship, ads that don’t belong there and also because it’s mostly pre-empted on TenHD by obscure sport.

I was hoping Ten would air their two backlogged Burn Notice episodes, but now it appears they have to go on the download list as well.

And what a shame they haven’t scheduled Swingtown! It’s a very entertaining, well made show. Kind of shameful that they have that at hand unaired and yet are happy to pump out more of the same tired old shows on repeat…

  7. Interesting Sunday 7.30 was the original 90210s home when it was at its peak. it started off on Fridays though over summer untill its auidiance built. I hope it does they same and we see the episodes uninterupted over Summer. Gosh MacGiver? that was a Summer time show back when it was on in the 80s, been there, done that.
Phillip love your line Sunday line up.

  8. I sure as hell hope Californication is just resting over the summer and that it hasn’t been axed because of those a***holes over at Salt Shakers running a campaign against the advertisers (32 have pulled out so far – make sure you go over to the Salt Shaker’s website and remember never to buy anything from those companies again).

But even if it is just resting, what’s the point? There’s only three episodes to go, seeing as this season goes for 10 episodes rather than 12.

I wasn’t even aware that they were planning on airing Swingtown, but it sounds interesting so that’s another disappointment.

  9. The Daily show is hilarious from what I’ve seen..kudos to 10 for showing it. But i agree some other late shows would be great..just not Leno!..would love to see Conan on FTA for eg. Next to Dave the funniest guy on tv.

  10. oh for goodness sake! The Daily show on Sunday??? Great that we have Lettermen, but where oh where is the funniest show, the late late show with Craig Fergerson?!? I hope when digital comes into affect next year, we get the ‘other’ shows that are never shown that the networks horde from payTV
